We need to understand that we are sexual beings. It is natural for most of us. The craving is a part of who we are. All these conditioning of religions, society, everything created a dam inside us. The dam which stops our sexuality shouldn’t have been built in the first place. So suddenly when we cry out for complete sexual freedom that creates a lot of confusion, and problems. The dam was already built. Now what we can do is to let it open and let the sexuality flow, flow in a smooth manner. The dam needs to be destroyed slowly. It is when sudden sexual freedom is granted that one does not know what to do with it. He shows no obligation to himself or those around him. That is when he destroys himself with his sexuality. But when it is understood slowly, taking one’s own time, experiencing it in the true self, that is when the conditioning slowly disappears and one lives the sex life in a responsible creative manner.
All conditioning, all fear of sex goes away gradually. The conflict that was created down through centuries dissolves away. We start to see sex as a natural thing. We start to live the beauty of sex. If we understood life better, if people who talks about life had only understood life better, they would had said how beautiful sex was- not to be feared and hated, but to be loved and cherished. It is this unity of two that brings a new life into being.
Life and sex cannot be separated. One can say that he is free from all sexual thoughts with years of suppression, but does suppression mean freedom? We are truly free from sex when one understands sex completely. When we understand sex, there is no more suppression anymore. We see sex from a greater perspective. We see sex as one of the many paths that leads to a persons true self when practiced with responsibility, the pure consciousness.
Namaste.
